The Brief
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines needed a comprehensive and visually appealing brochure to promote their worldwide 2023-2024 cruises. The goal was to create a high-quality, 147-page publication that captured the vibrancy and allure of their exotic destinations while maintaining a premium feel. The brochure had to balance extensive information about cruise routes, ships, and onboard services with captivating visuals to engage their target audience.
Process
As a hands on Design Lead at OLIVER Agency, I led a team to structure and design the brochure, dividing it into clear sections like destinations, ship details, and onboard services. Collaborating with Fortnight for custom illustrations, I ensured their work integrated seamlessly with the premium photography and vibrant layouts. By prioritizing print production considerations, I crafted a polished and cohesive design that captured Fred. Olsen’s brand identity and elevated the content.
Solution
The final brochure was a vibrant, visually engaging piece featuring a mix of playful illustrations, premium destination photography, and meticulously designed maps. Each section provided a clear, enticing narrative about the cruises, supported by a cohesive design language that reflected Fred. Olsen’s brand identity. The result was a high-quality publication that successfully showcased their worldwide cruise offerings and resonated with their audience.
